Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Reinier and Kubo are in contention to win the 2020 Golden Boy accolade, which is awarded by Tuttosport to European football’s leading under-21 player.

The Brazilian trident and the Japanese player, who is currently on loan from Real Madrid at Villarreal, feature in the 60-strong shortlist to land the 18th edition of the award.

Following the announcement of this second round of nominees, the number of candidates will be reduced each month up until the final 20-man list is revealed on 15 October.

The prize will be awarded on the basis of votes cast by 40 sports journalists from across Europe.
