City will have 18 first team players representing their country during November’s international break.
A host of friendlies and major tournament qualifiers are lined up for the group, who will return to the City Football Academy in the latter half of next week to prepare for Chelsea’s visit to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 23 November.

But before that, here is where you’ll find our players during the next ten days…

ENGLAND
Raheem Sterling and John Stones retain their spots in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the final two Euro 2020 qualifying games.

The Three Lions need a point against Montenegro at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 14 November, or against Kosovo three days later, to guarantee their place at next year’s finals. The Macedonia contest will be the 1000th game for the senior men’s team.

Phil Foden is again included in the U21 squad, who have a Euro 2021 qualifier away to Albania on Friday 15 November before heading to the Netherlands for a friendly, which will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 on Tuesday 19 November.

In the younger age groups, Ian Poveda is with the U20s for their games against Portugal and Iceland, while Tommy Doyle and Taylor Harwood-Bellis are with the U19s for three European Championship qualifiers against Luxembourg, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

EUROPE
Benjamin Mendy has been selected by France for the first time since September 2018, having previously missed out due to injury.

Les Bleus play Moldova on Thursday 14 November and Albania three days later in Euro 2020 qualifying matches, but have already guaranteed their place at the tournament.

The same cannot be said for Portugal, who have called up Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva.

They face Lithuania and Luxembourg on 14 and 17 November respectively and need to better Serbia’s results against the Red Lions and Ukraine in order to qualify for the finals.

Ilkay Gundogan will join up with Germany, who also need victories in order to qualify from a keenly contested Group C.

Die Mannschaft take on Belarus before a crunch match with Northern Ireland in back to back home games on Saturday 16 and Tuesday 19 November.

Oleksandr Zinchenko: The journey

Belgium will have Kevin De Bruyne in their ranks for clashes with Russia (Saturday 16 November) and Cyprus (Tuesday 19 November). The 28-year-old has four assists in his last three games for the Red Devils, who are already assured of their place at Euro 2020.
Rodrigo is again included in Spain’s squad for their final two qualifying games against Malta on Friday 15 November and Romania three days later, though La Roja have already guaranteed their spot at the finals.

At U21 level, Eric Garcia will have the chance to add to his three caps in matches against Macedonia and Israel.

SOUTH AMERICA
Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi will come up against Ederson and November.

City’s No.10 is approaching a century of international caps and would move to 98 if he featured against the Selecao and Uruguay three days later.

A milestone is also approaching for Jesus, who needs two goals for 20 in a Brazil shirt. They face South Korea in Abu Dhabi four days after the Argentina game.
