Ernesto Valverde has named his 24 man squad for the tournament which sees Barça face Atlético Madrid on Thursday
Barça travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for the revamped Spanish Super Cup in which they face Atlético Madrid in the semi finals with a possible final against either Real Madrid or Valencia. Coach Ernesto Valverde has named a 24 man squad for the tournament which is as follows:
N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Todibo, Suárez, Messi, Neto, Lenglet, M. Wague, Griezmann, Jordi Alba, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Vidal, Umtiti, Junior, Iñaki Peña, C. Pérez, Riqui Puig, Collado, Ansu Fati, R. Araujo and Arnau Tenas. Missing due to injury are Ter Stegen, Arthur and O. Dembélé.
Final session in Barcelona
On Tuesday the squad trained for the final time before travelling to Saudi Arabia with all the available first team players at the Ciutat Esportiva along with Iñaki Peña, R. Araujo, Jandro, Collado, Riqui Puig, C. Pérez and Ansu Fati from Barça B and Arnau Tenas from the U19 squad.
