NAPOLI – They’ve now hit the 30-goal milestone, with Romelu Lukaku so far bagging 16 goals to Lautaro Martinez’s tally of 14.

This tally was achieved during Monday’s 3-1 win over Napoli at the San Paolo,

with the Argentinian scoring the game’s final goal – and what was his ninth Serie A strike of the season. This was a vital win for the Nerazzurri,

one that was inspired by the superb pairing of Lukaku and Lautaro up front. Interestingly, the last time an attacking duo scored at least nine headed goals after 18 games at Inter was in 2007-08, through Ibrahimovic and Cruz.

“We’re working to give our all,” said Lautaro after the match. “We’re doing well, I’m pleased not so much for the goal, but rather for the team. We ran and we pressed well. We’ll keep doing what the Coach asks of us, we must keep improving.

“I was two months old the last time Inter won here at the San Paolo. It wasn’t an easy game but we showed patience, heart and passed the ball well. The bond with Lukaku? We’re working well and we’re doing well for Inter, we must keep it up and work and more each day.
