French national side defeated Bulgaria in Paris in the Stade de France in their final friendly fixture ahead of the Euro 2020 tournament which starts on Friday. Barça striker Antoine Griezmann scored the first in his side’s 3-0 win at home, his goal coming in the 29th minute of the encounter.
Two goals in the final seven minutes of the game from Oliver Giroud completed the win for Didier Deschamps’ team. Griezmann played 66 minutes of the game before he was replaced by another blaugrana, Ousmane Dembélé.
Spain beat Lithuania
The Spanish national side, in the encounter with Lithuania represented by the U-21 squad due to the full squad self isolating after Sergio Busquets’ positive Covid-19 test, triumphed with a 4-0 win over their Baltic opponents thanks to goals from Guillamón, Brahim Díaz, Miranda and Puado.
Barça’s Óscar Mingueza played all 90 minutes in the game played at Leganés’ stadium, El Butarque, making his debut for the full national side.
