Asensio, Isco, Modric, Casemiro, Ceballos, Llorente and Kroos have all found the net.

Real Madrid’s midfielders are contributing heaps of goals this season. Asensio, Isco, Modric, Casemiro, Ceballos, Llorente and Kroos have picked up 26 between them so far. The goal-scoring figures from the centre of the park have shot up in recent games; indeed, a midfielder has been on the scoresheet in seven of the last twelve games.

Since Zidane’s return to the dugout, Isco (2) and Ceballos have already found the back of the net. The man from Malaga heads Real Madrid’s list of prolific midfielders alongside Asensio, with six apiece. Casemiro and Modric are next up with four each.

Ceballos, who has already bettered the tally from his first season at Real Madrid, having notched three to date, all in LaLiga. Behind him is another player enjoying his best campaign in these terms, Marcos Llorente (2). In last spot, sits Kroos, who has managed one so far. The only midfielders yet to find the net are Valverde and Brahim.
