On Monday morning Roma’s forward Edin Dzeko underwent a surgical procedure following the injury sustained during Sunday’s match with Cagliari.
The striker suffered two fractures to his right cheekbone during the game. During the surgery one of these fractures was treated manually, while the other required the insertion of a small plate with screws. The surgery was completed by Professor Pesucci.
The Giallorossi midfielder Amadou Diawara underwent surgery on Monday morning after suffering an injury during Sunday’s game against Cagliari.
Professor Mariani performed a small procedure to repair a slight tear to the meniscus in his left knee. The procedure was a success and the player will begin work on his rehabilitation on Tuesday.
