Josè Callejon was in a determined mood ahead of the return leg of Napoli’s Europa League clash with Arsenal.

“We will give everything we have inside us to get through. We’ve got faith in our ability and we’re hungry to win. We want to advance so much. This group, the club and the fans deserve it.

“After the first leg we got together and spoke between ourselves. We spoke openly about everything – we’ve got a solid and united dressing room, which is something we’ve shown over the years.

“We’ve very optimistic. We got our approach wrong in the first leg and were off the pace in the first half. In the second, however, we were more in the game and managed to create chances.

“There was a feeling of disappointment after the game in London but now we’ve got a chance to turn it around and put in a great performance to get to the semi-final.”

When asked about his professional approach, Callejon said: “I live football with passion – every moment of the day. I try to eat healthily and train regularly. I keep an eye on all the small details. Being at 100%, both mentally and in terms of physical fitness, is key.

“I’m so happy with the six years I’ve spent at Napoli. I’ve had coaches who have helped me improve so much. I’d like to wear this shirt in the long term.”
